A One day event on Digital Transformation for the Quality Leaders
The 2nd Edition of ‘AmpleLogic Pharma Summit’ was held on 31st January 2023 at Hilton Cairo Heliopolis, Egypt. The event attracted 100+ Quality leaders, CDMO, CMO and industry experts from MENA region, aimed to empower the leaders in pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry to speed up their digital growth.
This edition was uniquely curated and focused on the theme ‘Bridge the Digital Gap in Lifesciences Industry – Mena Region’, as today, more than ever, pharma quality leaders need to be ready, to manage the uncertainty while preparing to scale for the future by adapting to new age digital technologies to help mitigate the regulatory challenges.
On a single platform, this conference brought together 15+ Industry Thought Leaders from Al Andalous, Utopia Pharmaceuticals, Pharco Corporation, EIPICO 3, Gypto Pharma and much more, who shared key insights on smart digital strategies, addressed key quality issues and discussed how to apply innovative and digital technology to existing and new business processes.
The event started with the welcome address by the AmpleLogic C.E.O. and Founder, Mr. Manne V. Chowdary, who has highlighted the pressing need for faster digital growth of Lifesciences industry and how AmpleLogic digital solutions built on LCNC has supported their 100+ clients globally with 10X faster deployment getting ROI in 3 months.
Excellent key note sessions and panel discussions were conducted on Digitalisation of Pharma processes and how to address data integrity challenges by Dr. Amany Eltanany, Dr. Hanaa Abdel, Dr. Hany Zhran, Dr. Mohamed Abbas, Dr. Doaa-Abou Zeid, Dr. Mohamed Mostafa and more leaders.
The event had expert trainers from India, Mr. Manoj Chitnis, and Mr. Hari Vayas Bansal, who conducted informative GMP training sessions on What’s new in GAMP5 2nd edition and how to move from CSV to CSA.
There was key mention on how the pharmaceutical industry in Egypt has been facing regulatory, developmental and manufacturing challenges leading to facing serious shortage of raw materials, as well as financial difficulties, as a result of the ongoing foreign currency crisis.
During the fireside chat session, Mr. Manne discussed with Dr. Hanna, about the current economic crisis in Egypt and how is it impacting the digital growth of pharma industry. Ways to strengthen and support required to ensure digital growth as key points of discussion, were much appreciated by the delegates at the summit.
The event overall emphasised that Digitization has the potential to fundamentally transform pharma quality operations and Pharma companies should get started on taking immediate steps to digitize their quality operations and develop a road map for coming years to implement the electronic solutions that meets the regulatory standards.
