IT Manager
Minimum Requirements
- Education: BE/B. TECH (or) MSc/MCA
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years of proven knowledge working with Windows and linux Server , NAS/SAS Storages, SQL, Hyper-V/VMware, Dell Server and Storage Systems, Firewall Fortigate Windows, Linux, Cloud Computing (Azure)..etc
Preferred Certifications
- Real time experience in Firewall (Sophos, FortiGate)
- Microsoft MSCE: Server Infrastructure, GPO, DNS, Roles..etc
- Cisco CCNA (Routing/Switching/Data Centre)
- AZURE Certified SysOps
- Additional Advantage RHEL
Required Skills
- Ability to work with within a team and provide leadership in change deployment, and support of infrastructure systems
- Provide recommendations, develop & maintain documentation, and report to Dept. Head.
- Solid Experience with Physical and Virtual Servers, Operating system to include Windows, Unix and Linux, Desktops, Remote access and applications.
- Extensive working knowledge of Servers and Storage for both physical and virtual servers
- Extensive root cause analysis experience.
- Solid theoretical knowledge and hands on experience configuring, troubleshooting, optimizing and managing most of the following hardware/software technologies & protocols:
- Dell Storage Systems & Dell Blade and Rack Mounted Servers
- Windows Operating Systems to include Windows 2016 2019 & 2022
- Linux and UNIX Operating Systems such as CentOS, Ubuntu, Red Hat Linux etc.
- Backup Solutions and Data security
- Windows Active Directory 2019, Remote Desktop Services 2019, SQL Server 2019
- Domain registration & hosting, SSL Certifications, DNS
- Emails, Ticketing Systems, Video Conference and MS Office tools.
- Microsoft Hyper-V, Proxmox.
- Knowledge in cloud solutions such as AWS, Azure, and Microsoft 0365 etc.
- Assist with hardware, firewall, telecom and software vendor evaluation, recommendation, and negotiations.
- Interact with Clients and staff at the technical level.
- Other duties as assigned.
Expectations
- Provide after-hours support for Infrastructure related emergencies as well occasional weekend maintenance
- 24 x 7 availability
- Ability to evaluate open-source tools for various IT Infra requirements
- Ability to drive and analyse helpdesk tickets and suggest necessary changes
- Adhere to KRAs and KPIs defined by Head of IT & HR
- Adhere to HR & Company policies.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Work closely with all depts. and operational teams in Amplelogic to ensure the stability and efficient delivery of IT Infrastructure services.
- Responsible for Core network, security, and Cloud infrastructure services.
- Responsible for successful deployments of all change requests or new implementations in Windows Servers, Network Devices. Etc
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate and resolve issues in network, Security.
- Play lead role in mentoring team members and work closely with all levels of team for effective delivery of IT Helpdesk services.
- Installing and configuring network equipment such as Firewall, Router, Switches, Storage and Cloud network services.
- Monitoring and maintaining Internet services, WAN and LAN.
- Engage with employees or clients through a series of actions, either face-to-face or over the telephone, to help set up systems or resolve issues.
- Troubleshooting system and network problems.
- Diagnosing and solving network and security issues.
- Answer IT Helpdesk eTickets, phone calls and emails.
- Diagnose and solving network issues, software & hardware issues within targets.
- Escalate tickets to next level in right time and prioritize the tickets.
- Providing support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports.
- Following diagrams and written instructions to repair a fault or set up a system.
- Supporting the roll-out or deploying new systems and applications.
- Prioritizing and managing many open cases at one time.
